Event Format

Easykart FormatEasyKart races take place on a single day. The day starts with signing on where all drivers have to produce their MSA licence. A scrutineeering card is then issued to for each driver to declare their easykart. At scrutineering each kart is checked for safety and the set of slicks whether new or used is marked. This set of slick tyres can only be used for the whole of the event.

Each driver then completes a warm up and then two qualfying sessions to determine their grid. The top 25 go through to the A final with the remaining drivers going into the B final. Ponits are given in both A and B finals but with lower points to the drivers in the B final.

The Format:

x1 10 minute practice/warm up session
x2 15 minute timed qualifying sessions
x1 20 lap Pre-Final
x1 25 lap ‘A’ Final

Depending on the number of entries, C and/or B final(s) would run in between the Pre and ‘A’ Finals.
