Selling my Easykart package as I’m looking to start in cars next season.

I’m a Motorsport engineer by profession and have previously worked for single seater teams.

The kart has been meticulously looked after with a full strip down and inspection after each outing.

New Frame half way through 2015. Previous owner only did 3 rounds that season (2 after new frame). The kart then did 6 rounds under my ownership in 2016. Around 12 outings including separate practice days. Frame was found to be straight on the ACR jig last time it was used. There some scraping to the underside paintwork, but no flat tubes or anything nasty.

The engine was rebuilt before my ownership. Its done a total of around 15hrs run time. Id say this would be ideal for someone looking to practice this season, maybe do a few rounds, then rebuild the motor and go and win next year. Dont get me wrong its not lacking power in any way, Its not a slow engine at all, and it never let me down, I just think with a fresh build it would be a rocket.

In addition to the new frame, I replaced in 2016:
-All new steering components, Track rods, column, rose joints
-New Birel steering wheel and mounting kit
-New Tillet seat and support stays (1 outing)
-Full brake rebuild at last use (inc. seals both caliper and master cylinder and reservoir) (1 outing)
-New clutch friction plate (3 outings)
-Brand new axle (1 outing)
-New pods and nassau
-New wheels
-New Rear bumper and brace bar
-Lots of bolts, washers, nuts

It also comes with the new type battery and charger.

In addition to this I’ve been meticulous with consumables. replaced every 1 2 or 3 uses:
-Bearings front and rear
-Brake fluid
-Fuel line and filter
-Exhaust decoked
-Clutch bearing lubricated after every use

Kart comes with loads of spares (pictured):
-3 more sets of wheels and tyres in bags (total 4 sets) (including brand new wets in the wrapper)
-Straight axle (not pictured)
-2 more carbs (3rd carb not pictured)
-Starter motor
-Spare Ignition system
-Spare set of pods
-All sprockets required for race calendar (plus extras)
-All chains lengths
-Straight brake disc
-Sprocket carrier

There are a few things Id be looking to replace on the kart:
-Floor tray i think is the original. Its looking worse for wear. Although it passes scrutineering it’s beginning to crack and will need replacing soon.

-The rear bearings have done 4 rounds. They are Dunlops so good quality but not silent and perfect anymore. Id replace before next race, totally fine for practice.

-Few dents in the exhaust. This wont be losing power but may be worth replacing to make the kart perfect.

The kart starts and runs on the button. Its very quick and never let me down. If I had done the last 2 rounds last season it would have been well into the top 10. It was my first season back in karts and I have no doubt it would’ve been a front runner if it wasn’t for my own driving cobwebs.

Kart is located in Bristol. I can deliver for travel costs.

I’d be happy to take the kart to a half test day If you’re ok to put cash in my hand first and cover my travel costs

Id also be happy to show a newbie the ropes at your own test day.

I’m afraid the sponsors sticker kit wont come with the kart, just clean white pods.
