Welcome to EasyKart UK

Easy Kart is the worldwide karting sensation for entry level into the world of Kart racing. Many of today’s F1 stars Vettel, Button, Alonso, Raikkonen and the latest British F1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton all started their driving careers in karts.

The Corridonia race shows the real value of the pilots emerged from Easykart and the professionalism of the Birel structure which is following them in KF3.

Corridonia - KF3 season continues for Birel pilots part of the youthful Easykart Driver Program and, after a bit of bad luck during the very first races and the necessity of a little testing of the technical structure (Birel Junior team) set up directly in the Birel section to manage the selected pilots, with the 4th appointment of the Open championship run at Corridonia, the first positive result arrived and underlined the formative level of Easykart and the efficacy reached by the Junior team. Pilots under contract with Birel, coming from the Easykart Trophy, are now five: Alberto Viberti, Riccardo Arone, Hubert Kalinowski, Radim Maxa and Kevin Lavelli. The Corridonia weekend began with a great double-declutch of Viberti and Maxa who gained the pole and the 2nd position during the qualifications run, under the rain.

Great performance also for Lavelli (winner of a round) and Arone who, at the end of the eliminatory rounds, gained the 1st line for the Pre-Final. Unlucky was the poleman Viberti, forced to a catch up race (won with detach from the 2nd) due to a disqualify for under weight in the 1st round when he ended soon after the winner Maxa. The weather conditions changed fast and led to a wrong weight evaluation; taking off the rain tracksuit the minimum weight fell of 400 grams under the 145 kilos needed. Another proof of the Birel pilots competitiveness arrived during the Pre-Final where the young Kevin Lavelli (Birel -Iame) won his first race in KF3 with an unbelievable authority, catching up positions with perfect overtakes, till the crucial one over Riccardo Vullo. Great race also for Radim Maxa (Birel-Iame), 5th before Viberti (Birel -Vkr), who ended 6th after a great recover from the 29th position. Extremely bad race for Riccardo Arone (Birel-Vkr): during the last lap had a contact with Rossi, while he was in the 3rd position. Lavelli confirmed the podium also in Race-2 gaining the 3rd placement soon after Ercoli and Speedy. Great again Viberti, 4th before Basiliotti. Another bad day for Arone: he left the track while he was overtaking all the others; bad luck also for Maxa who ended up at 11th place after a contact which made him losing some positions. Young Kalinowski, after gaining the qualification for the Final, ended both the races around the 15th placement, going on in the maturation process of KF3.

Marco Angeletti, of Birel marketing, on the Easykart Driver Program: "We are very satisfied by the work done ‘till today, both for what is about the team and the pilots chosen. We passed a testing period, preparing a brand new structure completely dedicated to KF3, ‘cause we needed to hone technical and managerial mechanisms. But in just 4 months we reached a high level of competence and professionalism, obtaining back great results for the work done by our technical team responsible, Alessandro Villa. We are all very satisfied also for the value of the pilots who, although very young, demonstrate how the preparatory classes of our promotional Easykart Trophy are formative and important to prepare in the best way pilots for higher categories. The Lavelli case is clear: he is such a young pilot who, thanks to Easykart Trophy, made a lot of races gaining an experience which is demonstrating to be decisive. The same for Viberti, Arone and Maxa, all pilots who now had the necessary experience to be protagonist in KF3 class. We keep on working with young pilots with a lot of new initiatives and we’ll start following some 60cc Easykart pilots who will run the Opel 60cc Mini National competition, and we’ll set some new KF3 tests for the best pilots of 100cc Easykart. All this will contribute to make Easykart more attractive as a formative gym for the ones who aim to superior classes."
